GotProHealth invites you to join our national network of providers. Our misson is simple:
To educate NFL Players (current and former) and their families on the tremendous benefit to using complementary medicine as an important part of their health and wellness.
To provide players and their families access to qualified, licensed practitioners across the United States.
This endeavor has tremendous potential to change the way professional athletes and their families think about getting and staying healthy. Opportunities will abound for practitioners to write articles, attend meetings, do demonstrations, as well as provide healthcare for current and former players and their families. GotProHealth practitioners will have unprecedented visibility to over 2,000 current players and almost 17,000 former players and their families living in the United States.
The NFL Players Association is the FIRST professional sports organization to make a commitment to its members to explore all the possibilities for health and wellness. We are looking forward to expanding this network to include other professional sports in the very near future.
The official launch of GotProHealth took place at the 2011 NFL Players Convention in March. Players and their families were thrilled to participate in acupuncture demonstrations, and chiropractic and naturopathic medicine consultations. Many have already contacted our offices for referrals near where they live!
GotProHealth Practitioners will:
Be marketed by the NFL Players Association to its members via newsletters, mailings, and website.
Be marketed to elite athletes and the general public through the national GotProHealth website.Have your profile featured in our searchable database by modality and geographic location and advertise your practice as part the GotProHealth network.Have the opportunity to be chosen as a featured practitioner.
Offered opportunities to write feature articles, do demonstrations and attend events and meetings, including the annual NFL Players Convention.
GotProHealth Applicants
GotProHealth is developing a provider network that meets the highest standards of excellence. GotProHealth will require proper credentialing. We will review and verify a practitioner’s qualifications prior to final approval.
Requirements:
Completed online application*
Proof of current licensure
Professional references (3) from colleagues in the healthcare industry
Registration fee of $250 for the first year. Annual renewal fee is $175
Provide a discount to NFLPA members (type of discount is at practitioner’s discretion)
*The application applies to individual practitioners only. Each practitioner in a group practice must submit a separate application.
