Virginia has over 25 years healthcare professional experience as a health educator and practitioner. She established Wellness Vibrations Consulting in 2007 to help employers designed and developed wellness programs for employees. On Feb 2012, she co-founded The B.R.E.A.T.H. Wellness Center, an integrative and holistic (mind-body-spirit) center which offers health education, lifestyle coaching, stress reduction, and various energy medicine-based therapeutic services. Virginia holds a Masters in Public Health from Cal State Long Beach, a doctoral degree in Natural Health and Wellness from Clayton College of Natural Health, has completed the Health Professional program from the National Whole Health Institute and is was recently selected to attend the first year-round leadership program at Duke University's in Integrative Medicine. She is licensed by the Pastoral Medical Association, National Board Certified Health and Wellness coach by the Center for Credentialing and Education and is also a certified Dr Sears Wellness Institute wellness coach. Doctor Schoenfeld has trained in Functional Medicine, is a qualified Heart Rate Variability and Coherence instructor for the Institute of Heart Math, trained in Holistic Nutrition and Advanced Mind-Body Medicine program at the Center of Mind-Body Medicine. Virginia is also trained in therapeutic use of Essential Oils, Mindful Meditation techniques, EMDR, Guided Imagery and Healing Touch. Virginia served in the US Navy for 20 years as Medical Service Corps officer where she managed Health Promotions and Community Health programs. She is still actively involved with Veterans and active duty military offering no-cost services to those affected by PTSD, TBI, Anxiety, Depression and Sleep Disorders. The B.R.E.A.T.H Wellness Center also offers a wide range of services delivered by two licensed Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists and Wellness Coaches.
